How it works

Cloudflare's headline model is a flat plan fee with no per-GB delivery charge, so the variable part of the bill comes from optional add-ons like Argo and — crucially — from the origin egress your own cloud still bills on every cache miss. Raising the hit ratio therefore cuts the bill even though the CDN itself does not meter bytes.
