How it works

Shares are normalised rather than trusted, so an input set that adds to 96% or 104% still produces a consistent split. Each region's peak is derived from its own average bit rate, because regional prime times do not overlap — the global peak is always less than the sum of regional peaks. CDN pricing is regional and per-GB rates in Asia-Pacific and South America are often two to four times the North American rate, so the distribution — not just the total — drives both cost and where you place capacity.
