Hours worked equals clock-out minus clock-in, minus your unpaid break. Overnight shifts (where end is earlier than start) are handled by rolling over midnight. Gross pay multiplies decimal hours by your rate.

Working minutes = (end − start + 1440) mod 1440 − break minutes
Gross pay
Gross pay = (working minutes ÷ 60) × hourly rate
If your end time is earlier than your start time, the calculator assumes you clocked out the next day and adds 24 hours automatically.
