Camp fees are quoted per week, which makes different programmes look comparable when they are not. The figure to compare is all-in cost per child per week, which folds in the one-off registration fee and the kit the camp requires — a sleeping bag, boots or a specialist kit list can add 100 dollars or more that never appears in the advertised price. Sibling discounts apply to tuition only and only to the second child onward, so on two children a 10% discount is 5% of the tuition bill. Registration fees are usually non-refundable and charged per child, not per family.

Because registration and required kit are real costs spread over however many weeks you book. A cheaper weekly fee with a long kit list can end up more expensive than a higher all-inclusive rate.
Registration fees usually are not, and cancellation windows for tuition are often 30-60 days out. Check the policy before booking multiple weeks you may not use.
