Attending an interview costs travel, any overnight stay, and the pay you give up to be there — and for anyone on hourly or freelance terms the last of those is usually the largest. Car travel is priced at a per-mile rate that should cover fuel and wear rather than fuel alone, and a rail or air fare can be entered instead. Knowing the total matters because many employers reimburse interview expenses on request, and the ones that do not are telling you something about how they treat candidates.

Count it where it is paid time you forgo, which is what the unpaid days field captures. Counting unpaid personal time as a monetary cost is defensible but makes the figure harder to compare against a reimbursement claim.
