Free Annual Raise Impact calculator with clear step-by-step results.
Shows what a raise is actually worth. The headline figure is your new salary, but the two numbers that matter are the extra gross pay per month and the real raise - the growth left after inflation, calculated as a ratio rather than a subtraction so compounding over several years stays accurate.
Real raise
Real raise = (1 + nominal raise) / (1 + inflation) - 1
Compounded salary
Future salary = current salary x (1 + raise)^years
Subtracting is a close approximation at low rates but drifts as rates rise. Dividing the growth factors is exact and matters when you compound it across five or ten years.
Gross. A raise can push part of your income into a higher marginal bracket, so the take-home increase will be smaller than the monthly figure shown.
