Check if a battle pass is worth it.
A battle pass advertises its full reward value, but you only own what you actually unlock before the season ends. Spreading the advertised store value evenly across the tiers gives a value per tier, and multiplying by the tiers you realistically reach gives what the purchase is worth to you. The break-even tier — price divided by value per tier — is the honest test: if you never reach it, the pass loses money regardless of the headline value.

Break-even tier = price / value per tier; net value = value per tier x tiers reached - price
Yes, at face value, and note that passes which return enough currency to buy the next one are effectively self-funding as long as you finish them.
Publishers set store prices partly to make bundles look generous. If you would never buy a skin at its store price, that price is not the value you are receiving.
